The Novel Co. is a brand studio creating identities for wellness + lifestyle founders who care about the feeling behind what they’re building and want a brand that feels personal / memorable / true to them.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi, I’m Naz, the designer behind The Novel Co. and a lifelong lover of a good story. I started The Novel Co. because I wanted to build the kind of studio I would want to work with myself. A simple process / clear timelines / easy communication / creative backed by strategy.
These days, I work with wellness + lifestyle founders who have a clear vision and want a creative partner to help bring it to life. I’m also letting my studio become more personal along the way— sharing the changes, experiments, and growth behind the scenes as I figure things out in real time.
I’ve always been the friend who takes the Instagram stories, noticing little details, and turning ordinary moments into a whole scene. I think that’s probably where a lot of my approach to branding comes from. I love finding out how things look + feel together, and the moments that make an experience more memorable.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me at a new coffee shop (but drinking a matcha), junk journaling, or collecting books I swear I’ll read someday.

MY APPROACH
Before I open any design tools or even my sketchbook, I want to understand what you’re building / who it’s for / what makes it different / and most importantly, how you want it to feel.
This is why I’ve reworked my studio experiences to take a more holistic approach. I’m not just creating the visual identity and delivering the PNG files. We’re thinking about the bigger picture and how your brand lives— in the first impression and moments people will remember during the experience.
My design process is built around collaboration. I’m here to guide the process, ask the questions you might not have thought to ask, and bring my own perspective to the table. You know your business + how you want it to feel, and I know how to help you translate it.
BEHIND THE NAME
I’ve always loved stories— books, movies, the stories photography tells, interiors with meaning behind them, and finding the moments that make something feel distinctly its own.
I like the idea of treating each brand like its own novel— something with a point of view, different chapters, unexpected details, and a world people can step into.
With my love of storytelling + creating + business-making, branding became the perfect way to bring all of those things together.
